Either produce or find an existing Omlet ad banner to place on your website here. If you are writing a post or page about chickens, you can insert a banner that shows an Omlet product for chickens. The banners can be added anywhere on your website, it's completely up to you to decide where they go. If you need advice, we are of course always here to help.
If you need a specific banner with a particular size and design, please contact us so we can create one for you.
You can find an example of one of our existing banners on the left.

The article is a much more subtle and potentially effective way of getting your visitors to go onto our website and buy.
Your goal with this technique is to get people to click on your affiliate links. To encourage them to do this you will need to make sure your content is effective, and that it engages your readers. It's important that your article are of high quality, and that they provide interesting and factual information for your audience.
After you have signed up for our affiliate program, go through the following steps:
Step 1: Find links that interest you and that you want to use on your site to get people to visit the Omlet website. These links must make sense in the context of your article, and must be products that you want to promote. You can find out how you get your personal affiliate links here.
Step 2: Produce content and add links within your attractive and interesting content.
You can choose between several types of articles to put your affiliate links in.
Type of article number 1: The Comparative Article
You may decide to present our products and compare them to other similar products. This is a comparative article that allows you to guide potential buyers through the advantages and disadvantages of each product. In the context of this type of article we would recommend inserting photos of each product and to give a personal opinion. Don't forget to insert the link that will allow your audience to visit our website.

Type of article number 2: The Explanatory Article
This is a specific article about one of our products where you are giving your opinion on the product, adding pictures (we can provide you with these, but it is always more interesting when they are yours) and giving a more in-depth description of the product. How is it different? How does it meet your needs? How could it meet the needs of your readers? An explanatory article tends to have a certain style of title. In this title you can add the name of the company, in this case Omlet, for example: "We tested Omlet's Automatic Door". It should have several paragraphs, an introduction and subheadings, for example:
The above suggestions are just examples. You can use them as a guide, but it is always better when it is your own experience and you decide what you want to tell your readers. Be sincere and transparent. Give your best advice to your community and be natural. We love constructive feedback and your audience will thank you for it.
Photos are very important, and videos are a great addition. It is important to show the product in different perspectives and to taking lighting into consideration. It is often said that a picture is worth a thousand words and this is also true when it comes to affiliation and presenting a product.
Put yourself in the shoes of a person inquiring about a product; they are interested but not yet convinced. They will want to see the product being used and the product being tested in every-day life. Make sure you show your chickens in the Eglu Cube Chicken Coop, the automatic door opening in the morning, your dog sleeping in their new Topology bed or your rabbits in their purple hutch. Visual content will engage your audience, who will be more likely to be interested in the product and therefore want to buy it.Link to article: https://linnetlane.co.uk/2019/03/25/the-omlet-eglu-cube-part-i/

Type of article number 3: Hyperlink inserted in a regular blog post
The third way to do affiliate writing is to simply insert a hyperlink into one or several of your blog posts. When you have a blog, you probably write about specific topics that will be of interest to your audience for tips, advice and best practices. These articles are not written with the intent to promote or sell a product. They are informative. However, there may come a time in the article when you mention a subject that makes you think of one of our products. Do not hesitate to insert a hypertext link that will allow your readers to be informed of the existence of our site and of products that might interest them.
For example, you might write about what to consider before keepings chickens in your garden or backyard, and when talking about maintenance and cleaning, you can include a link to our Eglu chicken coops (or even write a short paragraph if the context is right).Social media
Social media
You don't have to stay restricted to the blog. Your social networks are also an assets, and if you have a nice community on Instagram or Youtube, you take advantage of it by giving them your affiliate links. In particular, you can make stories on Instagram presenting a product and insert a link if you have 10K followers or more. Your customer will then be redirected to the product page and if they order you will get your commission. The same goes for Youtube, you can put your affiliate link in the description of a video presenting our products. You can also add an affiliate link under your Pinterest posts.
