Eglu arrived very promptly. Relatively easy construction. Chickens took to it very quickly. Friend who has mk1 thought improvements on mk2 were 'spot on'. Very happy. Had previously used wooden hen houses but this a lot more practical and based over the longer term (friend's use of mk 1) a more cost effective option albeit greater initial outlay . Thank you.

What an absolutely amazing product ! I wish I had bought the Cube initially instead of struggling with a traditional wooden ark. The cube itself was easy to put together and the booklet gave clear instructions. I choose the package with wheels so that the Cube can be moved around easily.....and yes it does move easily ! The run ( which we added an extension to) was a little more fiddly to put together but not difficult and the whole family got together to do it. I can now move my cube and the run easily to new areas in the paddock. I am very impressed with the structure and steadiness of it and I know that my chickens have a really good space to wander around when I am not around to let them have freedom of the whole field. They can stretch and flap and find shelter or sunshine. It is easy to clean and it is dry ( our wooden ark leaked and got very damp during downpours of rain) Now the bedding stays fresh and because they use the roosting bars, the nesting box stays clean. I really can't recommend this enough. I am delighted that I now am able to offer such good welfare standards to my chickens - and they are genuinely much happier. I am just about to invest in an automatic door and light. Thank you Omlet.....it does everything you promised !

Really easy to assemble, even by myself. The hens seem happy in it. Downside so far is the ladder, it seems quite steep and my hens won’t go up or down it, they just fly in and out as if it wasn’t there, I think I will need to add some sort of solid ramp over the top.

My Cube arrived on time. A bit daunting watching all those cardboard boxes arrive - make sure you've got a use for the empties, or a handy recycling centre. Lucky for me it was a fine day and I had the space to lay out the many componrnt parts. I found the instructions quite clear and it took me about four hours (including tea breaks) to construct. The result is a very handsome looking poultry palace. Very functional, easy to maintain and to keep clean. There was a slight issue with a broken part but Omlet's excellent customer service put me at my ease and supplied a new part by return of post. The 'chooks' have the run of a paddock during the day but are very happy to return at dusk - when they are locked in their run. There is more than enough room for my six ladies. If I kept more I would have to extend the two metre run. But that would prevent me from being able to wheel the whole assembly to 'pastures new' quite so easily. On the whole the experience of buying my first Cube has been a satisfying one. The Cube is undeniably expensive, but in my opinion is worth every penny.

Awesome coop, easy to put together and safe from predators. We added a 50 by 50 outside run and put the cube under a shed because we don’t have a lot of shade trees and I wanted the eglu in a permanent spot. We have lots of predators in NH so the outside run has solar electric fence around it and bird netting over it. The eglu is really easy to move around and is built really well so it's going to be predator proof and a warm place for the girls this winter. Great design they walk right up the ladder every night and climb in for bed the first few nights they piled up in front of the door but within a couple nights they go up and right to the back. Awesome coop we are very happy with it and have shown it to several people who were interested in purchasing one.

I love my Eglu Cube. It’s a great little coop for an urban farmer. It’s super easy to clean, and all of the poops come easily off with my hose. Keeps my birds warm and safe at night. Has safety latches so predators can’t get in. The coop is really sturdy and is easily moveable with the wheels. A super cute coop.

I have long wanted a cube, my dream came true this summer. My Chickens and Ducks all pile in there together, have their favourite places to roost, leaving just one hen who prefers the Eglu Go. We didn't want the ladder and stand, such a shame that we have to have it, a waste. However we have made it into a platform which the Cockerel enjoys.

This is better than we'd even hoped. The coop is beautifully engineered and clever. The chickens are cozy and dry at night, the coop is super easy to clean (our kids do it) and with the wheels, the whole setup is easy to move. ALSO: customer service is excellent--they really want everything to work out.

We decided to increase our garden flock so upgraded from the smaller co-op to this. Easy to put together with help from my 11 year old and so pleased with it. Great product.

Direct Freight Express lost two of my 6 boxes but Omlet helped me chase them up, and when one part of the frame proved to be scratched they organised for a replacement to be sent (from the UK) by DHL. That’s service. The Cube is definitely easier to assemble as a two person job. The automatic door I ordered as an add on worked just as it is supposed to, although it was a little bit fiddly to assemble the small parts and connect the Control Panel. I would like to be able to use time mode in the morning and light mode in the evening but the software does not allow this at this stage. I do recommend buying the bracket to mount the Control panel to the Cube at the same time as it looks neat. My 3 ISA Brown girls took some time to get used to the ladder so I propped a plank up as a temporary ramp and brought it down a rung every couple of days. I let them roost in their old house the first night and picked them up when they were sleepy and posted them into the new Cube. After that they put themselves to bed in the Cube and seem very comfortable. I get some eggs in the nesting box but one girl lays in the roosting area. The droppings tray is very easy to empty and both it and the rungs can simply be pressure cleaned, works very well. I ordered the run later. This was not ideal as you really do have to dismantle most of the Cube to instal the run. It looks like you may be able to get away without doing so but trust me, you can’t. I found the run fiddly to assemble and would have preferred it to be in fewer parts. In particular the double clips are very difficult unless you have strong hands. Like many others, I ended up reinforcing the structure with many cable ties, used an entire packet of 100. Also, the front panels to which the doors attach were I think supposed to be identical but in fact mine weren’t (One of the hooks for the locking pins was bent out) and I installed them the wrong way round to start off with so the locking pins would not go through. Works now I swapped them round but worth checking the door pins go through the frame loops before clipping everything together. The whole thing took many hours to assemble single handed mainly due to having to dismantle the Cube (Obviously not an issue if the run is assembled at the sae time as the Cube) and to struggling with the double clips. I’m loving the Cube and auto door and would definitely buy it again, but time will tell if the run proves to be a useful and durable add on.
