Easy to set up but not a perfect solution
Tina,
This fence is easy to set up and install, the parts are well made. I found that my chickens can escape by going under or flying over the fence. The ground in my yard is not perfectly even so the fence has some spots that are not as tight as others, meaning they sometimes escape. But it works most of the time. It isn't really a tall enough fence to keep any hen from flying over, except maybe the heaviest breeds. I have Orpingtons and they can fly over but not easily.

Chicken fence is brilliant
Cherry,
It’s great that you can buy extra posts. My ground is rough and irregular so extra posts really help!

A nice way to expand their universe.
Jean, Michigan,
My daughter and I are new chicken owners (Spring 2022). We have 6 hens. They moved in our new Eglu cube / walk-in run combo 3 months ago and, from what we can tell, they love it. And so do we! Why we love the Omlet fence? We cannot free range - too many predators, including hawks, coyotes and racoons. Thanks to the Omlet fence, when we are playing with or attending our hens, the Omlet fence allows us get them out of the run and to expand their universe. The fence is easy to install and can easily be move around.

Should have clips and guide wires included
Sherrie, Ohio,
I purchased 5 extra fence poles thinking clips and guide wire would be included but it’s not! You should at least offer those for a few extra dollars more or have those available to buy separately…

So practical!
Mags,
I bought the Omlet Chicken Fencing a month ago, which has made my life so much easier. The chickens can't get into my veggie garden and munch on all my seedlings. I can now also move the fencing around to allow the lawn to recover or when I want the chickens to turn over or compost part of the veggie garden. Love how it is changeable and movable easily. It's a win-win for us all.

Keeping them in perfectly!
Latosha,
I was skeptical about this being sturdy enough to keep our chickens in but it’s doing the job perfectly!

checked all of my boxes
Jennifer,
I'm so happy I stumbled upon this product. I was looking to create smaller free range areas for different groups of chickens and this has allowed me to achieve that. Easy to put together and install. It will be easy to adjust the parimeter as needed. Materials are sturdy and durable.

Good product, but not perfect for everyone.
Dave,
I bought this last month to keep my new hens in until they were used to their new home, after which they will be allowed to roam. The fence is good quality and the instructions are pretty good, but it does take a good couple of hours to get right. I found some of the poles were difficult to assemble due to some of the quick release brackets being a bit out of line, but once they are assembled, the fence went up quite quickly. One word of warning though. Unless the area you are fencing off is completely flat, the plastic fencing will not sit straight. Any difference in height from one pole to the next will cause the fencing to twist and hang at odd angles. It's not a major issue although one of my hens did manage to fly onto one of the twists and get a bit tangled. I would also say that it isn't really tall enough to stop hens getting over, unless you clip their wings, it only comes up to about chest height. It is also a little expensive. That being said, it does do the job and it is pretty good quality.

Love how easy it was to install
Casey, WA,
I purchased the fencing with every intention to keep a chicken-free portion of my back yard, but allow them to free range. And it did the job perfectly. Easy to set up, easy to move around, and sturdy even in our windy city. The door latch is secure but also able to be undone single handedly if needed. Very happy!

Does the job
Karen,
Bought this in an emergency to re-home our hens after a fire. I don't think this is as good as the rope fencing we had before, we did struggle with assembly as the fence was very long and not as pliable as the rope) but once in place, it does keep the hens where they should be.
