I quite fancy an Eglu myself to camp out in and it would seem my hens fancy house swop too as they are intent on getting into my kitchen ever since they rushed my mother and stole the cats dinner from under his nose (not chicken flavour!). They do seem happy & healthy in their eglu, it is easy to keep clean....even my mother (who is 77) can pull out the tray and empty & clean it. I am now getting regular eggs X2, both in the eglu as initially one hen was intent on her own nest in the flower bed (or what is left of it). I would recommend an 'Eglu go' as a therapeutic and fun venture for all ages.

The plastic coop is fine, but the wire run needs some attention. An access hatch on the roof of the wire cage would be very useful to aid cleaning and feeding. We are still waiting for a long closing peg for the side access door. A small single was sent and the person who built up the chicken house for us said he would make sure one of the correct size would be posted to us, unfortunately 3 - 4 weeks later nothing has arrived.

What a great idea - As a new owner of chickens Omlet have been very helpful with all our questions. It arrived on time and was easy to put together. We purchased three medium chickens and they made themselves at home instantly and are very happy. As for cleaning it couldn't be easier - empty the tray in the compost and hose down the trays any stubborn bits come off with a soft brush - and long term there is no maintenance.

Bought this (my second GO) as a house/run for my growers. They are very happy and love the cosy house and lovely secure run. Great product from Omlet as usual.

Received excellent service from Omlet, the chap who delivered and assembled the Eglu Go was very helpful. I'm really pleased on the whole, I use newspaper to line the dropping tray which makes the job very quick and easy. The Go could be improved if access was possible from the side as well as the back. As it is I am restricted as to where I can put it in my vegetable garden because of the length of the run. An additional door would be really useful for cleaning the run and if the run was designed so that it was possible to change the shape - a square run would work really well in the space I have. Overall it's a hassle free way to keep chickens.

Having had the 'GO' just over a month now I have found it very simple to use, very easy to clean and the hens seem to be pretty happy in it too. It seems to be very well made and I have no complaints at all. The only slight niggle I have is that it would be so much easier to clean out the run if the top section lifted off . As it is you have to either lie on your stomach to reach in with the rake to drag the contents towards you, drag the entire thing to a different place or dismantle the run from the 'GO'. This is only a slight niggle though as I really would reccomend it and would certainly buy it again.

I really like my Eglu Go, it is very fit for our small backyard and extremely easy to clean. The only thing so far is that our three sikies aren't very clever. So they still haven't figured out how to eat from the new feeding basket (they tend to look only forward and don't see the seed laying below). And they are so small they can almost swim in the drinking tray. So I still use the old ones I already had. But other then that I am very happy with the Eglu.

Fantastic product. Arrived when they said it would. Packages complete, and in excellent condition. Relatively easy to put together, although did need help getting it down to the garden. Now have two bantams living in the eglu and run. Great fun!

Easy to clean. Enough room for 4 chickens. Only downside is that the bedding gets kicked and scratched out of the nesting box. A rim around the nesting box would help.

I'm new to keeping chickens but this seems to make it hassle free. It is very easy to clean (I don't like cleaning!). Every day I just tip out the poo and hose the tray. Only had it a few days but I will hose out the inside soon although it is still looking remarkably clean. It is easy to use - open and shut and access the inside. The chickens love it. I would have liked to have extended the run for when I go on holiday when they won't be able to free range but at the moment you can't get a run extension for it. As it stands tho' I'm very impressed.
